Project Partners
VIATICUM 2 is implemented by seven organisations from Italy, Greece, France, Hungary, Denmark and Spain.
Each partner brings unique expertise in volunteer rescue, civil protection, training, digital innovation and community engagement. Together, they contribute to the development of the project’s manuals, field activities, VR training platform and dissemination strategy.

ASSOCIAZIONE EDELWEISS
Founded in 1996 and registered with Calabria Civil Protection since 1997, the Association is based in Soverato and has 60 trained volunteers. It operates six specialized units, including USAR, rope and swiftwater rescue, logistics, medical, research, and water rescue. Edelweiss responds to major natural disasters, runs regular training and large simulations, and has taken part in earthquakes, international humanitarian missions, wildfire response, and swiftwater rescues.

OEΔΔ (Volunteer Forest Firefighters and Rescue Team)
OEDD is a non-profit association which – as a force assigned to the firefighting planning of the National Fireservice – operates primarily around its Municipality, but also wherever requested by the National Fireservice, in the Greek territory. Also, since 2009, the Team has been one of the recognized groups in the register of voluntary organizations of the General Secretariat of Civil Protection, with number 0070-00-24, and has been a founding member of the Panhellenic Federation of Volunteer Forest Firefighting Teams.

F&K Centre of Innovation
F&K is a centre of innovation and an adult training center specialized in the areas of crisis management & health. F&K has long-lasting experience in training of different management methodologies. The highly educated members of the Company have gained knowledge and wide experience in the consulting and technological innovation through the intense participation in R&D projects, part of them funded by the European commission. F&K has a wide network of different partners over EC and is an expert for assembling proposals with a high level of innovation as well as managing the consortium to reliable results.

SERENDEPIA LAB
SERENDEPIA LAB is a recently established association (founded in December 2024) whose main objective is to promote business transformation through the integration of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and digitalisation.
We aim to foster innovative technological solutions that enhance business competitiveness and sustainability, contributing to the development of a more inclusive and efficient business ecosystem.

PUI (Pompiers de l’Urgence Internationale)
International Emergency Firefighters is an international humanitarian association, INSARAG (UN) classified team and recognised as a public utility, dedicated to:
Provide rescue assistance and aid to vulnerable populations in need after a natural disaster through the involvement of volunteer rescuers.
Strengthen civil protection mechanisms in emerging countries through: multidisciplinary certification of fire fighters and civil security personnel o provision of adapted equipment and vehicles; fair assessment of operational and functional mechanisms and action proposals to provide governmental instances with a clear vision of the actual situation.

NWA (Nordic Wellbeing Academy)
“The Nordic Wellbeing Academy is a non-profit organisation working to foster interpersonal relations, wellbeing and health-literate organisations.
Based on Nordic experiences, we are contributing to transformation and implementation of ideas and policies for future wellbeing across Europe – individually and structurally.”

MRSZKMCS (Hungarian Reformed Church Aid Search and Rescue Team)
The Magyar Református Szeretetszolgálat Mentőkutyás, Önkéntes Kutató-mentőcsoport és Tűzoltó Egyesület (MRSZKMCS) is a volunteer-based civil protection and rescue organization based in Debrecen, Hungary. It carries out search and rescue operations, disaster response, and emergency training at national and international level, including K9 rescue missions, volunteer firefighting, community preparedness activities, and participation in international humanitarian and disaster relief operations.
